Our introduction to the Weimaraner breed was early in 1989 when we purchased our first bitch Briony Donna Bella (Kes). We just wanted an energetic dog that we could take for long walks as well as a shooting companion. Since then, we have become addicted to the breed and we have never looked back. As they say, we never knew how we filled in our days before we had Weimaraners. Kes proved to be an exceptional little working bitch, working on many shoots across Norfolk and Lincolnshire. During our short stay in Scotland, she was privileged to work on the Glamis estate. Although neither of us are very competitive we entered Kes in a Novice field trial in 1991, where at her first attempt she won the trial. Due of her working ability we decided to have a litter, and in 1993 along came Fay (Forgun Face Value).
